Vietnam's Rang Dong Joins Smart Lighting Summit in China

Representing the Vietnam Lighting Association (VLA), Rang Dong, or fully known as Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company, attended the “Smart Lighting Industry Summit” on July 17-18 in China’s southern city of Shenzhen. The summit is a crucial event aimed at promoting innovation and cooperation in smart lighting between the International Solid State Lighting Alliance (ISA) and BRICS, an intergovernmental organization comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates. 

Mr. Nguyen Doan Ket, VLA Permanent Vice President and Rang Dong's Deputy General Director, speaks at a session of the "Smart Lighting Industry Summit" in Shenzhen (China). His first presentation covered strategies, policies and the development status of Vietnam's solid-state lighting as well as Rang Dong's smart product ecosystem. 

The event also attracted participants from non-member countries such as the United Kingdom and Thailand.  

Mr. Nguyen Doan Ket, VLA Permanent Vice President and Rang Dong’s Deputy General Director, delivered two presentations on Vietnam’s solid-state lighting development and a company product to a BRICS session and another meeting between ISA and BRICS. 

The topics covered “Strategies, Policies and the Development Status of Solid-State Lighting in Vietnam and Rang Dong’s Smart Product Ecosystem” and “Standards, Regulations and Testing Capabilities for Solid-State Lighting Products in Vietnam”.

Mr. Nguyen Doan Ket’s presentations drew significant interest and led to lively discussions among the participants.
