Rang Dong placed among Vietnam's most profitable businesses in 2021
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam's Rang Dong has managed to post a strong growth so far this year, thus having won recognition as one of the country's largest and most profitable businesses in 2021 among many awards.
The company has implemented many innovative solutions, many of which were in digital transformation in the field of e-commerce, smart management and optimization of human resources. It has successfully transformed four levels of technology in the field of lighting, having become one of Vietnam's typical science and technology enterprises and model implementation of innovation.
On November 25, the Hanoi-based company, Vietnam's leading manufacturer of LED products and smart lighting solution provider, was voted by the Vietnam Report company and the VietNamNet online newspaper as one of TOP 500 Vietnam's Most Profitable Companies in 2021.
It was also selected by the same panel as one of 500 largest companies in Vietnam in 2021. A ceremony to receive the award is scheduled to be held in mid-January 2022.
Rang Dong's after-tax profit in the first nine months of 2021 grew an estimated 11.8 percent from the same period last year to 232 billion dong, as January-September net revenue rose 12.8 percent in the same period to 3.45 trillion dong, the company said in a financial report. Exports in the period posted an annual growth of 47 percent.
Last year, as Vietnam dealt with the first waves of COVID-19 infections, Rang Dong posted an annual revenue growth of 15.6 percent, while after-tax profit surged 168.5 percent from a year ago to 336 billion dong.

In 2021, Rang Dong has also received many prestigious awards, such as "TOP 100 Vietnam's most trusted brands in 2021".
Its 4.0 LED Ecosystem product was voted TOP 1 ‘The favorite Vietnamese products in 2020 by customers', while its smart lighting solution for streets in smart cities won Vietnam's 2021 Smart City Award in September. The solution was rated five stars in the award category for smart city technical infrastructure.
