LEDs, as previously stated, consume far less electricity than traditional light bulbs while also having far greater longevity. An LED has an average lifespan of up to 100,000 hours, which means it will be years before replacement lighting is required, saving much for businesses in the long run.
High-Quality Colour Rendering Index
CRI (color rendering index) is a measurement that compares the ability of light to reveal the 'true' color of objects to natural lighting. While natural light is always preferred, LEDs with high CRI are desirable, particularly in commercial applications such as changing rooms and warehouses where natural light is limited.
Fitting rooms with poor lighting, for example, will give garments a completely different color from what they may look like after being taken home by customers. Many retail stores are now installing tunable changing room lighting, allowing customers to try on outfits in a variety of lighting conditions.
