Rang Dong’s UV-C sterilization LED downlight keeps our space clean
Ultraviolet – C (UV-C) covers a wavelength spectrum from 200 – 280 (nm). It is considered the most effective, compared to UV-A and UV-B, at killing bacteria, viruses, or other microorganisms that cause diseases. Having a light which can produce UV-C indoors is necessary to sterilize our space without chemicals. The UV-C sterilization LED downlight from Vietnam's Rang Dong is an option users should opt for. General specifications
Rang Dong offers two models of UV-C downlight.
Rang Dong, Vietnam's leading manufacturer of LED products, has two models of UV-C sterilization LED downlight, including AT21.UV 90/7W and AT21.UV 135/14W with different wattages and cutting holes. The first model, AT21.UV 90/7W, has the size of 110 x 51 mm, the cutting hole of 90 mm, and producing 560 lm, while the second model, AT21.UV 135/14W, has the size of 149 x 51 mm, the cutting hole of 135 mm, and producing 1,000 lm.
Both downlights are made of high quality PC and aluminum. The color rendering index is 80. Rang Dong provides two options of CCT, including 6500K and 3000K. The first model’s life span is 15,000 hours and the second 35,000 hours. These UV-C downlights release a wavelength spectrum from 260 to 285 nm.
Exceptional features
Rang Dong’s UV-C sterilization LED downlight is integrated with a radar sensor.
AT21.UV 90/7W disinfects in the area of 2x2 sq.m. The UV LED’s lifespan is 5,000 hours. AT21.UV 135/14W model disinfects in the area of 3x3 sq.m and its UV LED’s lifespan is 10,000 hours. A radar sensor is integrated in the downlight and can detect motions within 90-degree angle. If a motion is detected, the disinfection mode will be turned off so that humans and animals are not harmed.
Users can switch between lighting mode and disinfection mode easily.
Installation and user’s guide
The UV-C downlight is installed easily like any other recessed downlight.
Rang Dong’s UV-C sterilization LED downlight should be installed to the ceiling so that its distance to the floor ranges from 2.8 to 3.5 meters.
Disinfection mode can be turned on automatically.
Normally when we power the downlight by pressing ON, it turns on the lighting mode. To switch to the disinfection mode, press ON – OFF – ON continuously within three seconds. During this process, if a motion is detected, the light will automatically turn off the disinfection mode, and automatically switch back to on again when no motion is detected for one minute.
In case we don’t want to switch the mode manually, we can set it automatically by pressing ON – OFF – ON – OFF – ON. With this auto setting, the lighting mode is present when it detects motions and switches to the disinfection mode when there is no motion for 5 minutes.
For model AT21.UV 90/7W, the disinfection time of manual setting is 2 hours and auto setting is 20 minutes. For model AT21.UV 135/14W, the disinfection time of manual setting is 3 hours and auto setting is 30 minutes. If we want the space to be sterilized continuously, auto setting is more suitable. Manual setting is good for the sterilization once at the end of day or working section.
UV-C sterilization LED downlight can be used in public small indoor spaces such as elevators, toilets or bars.
