Rang Dong brings new products to Cambodia via a seminar
Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask JSC, Vietnam’s leading manufacturer of LED products and smart lighting solution provider, has organized a seminar in Cambodia on its latest products as it seeks to boost exports to the neighboring market.

At the seminar, held in Phnom Penh on March 19, 2019, Rang Dong introduced its new products, which are eco-friendly, safe and economical for users, such as LED bulbs, lighting fixtures and thermos.
With a population of over 16 million people, Cambodia is a potential market for lamps and lighting products. Rang Dong has exported several types of thermos and fluorescent lamps to the country in recent years, but the sales have yet to reach expectations and consumers still have little acknowledgement of the Vietnamese company’s products

“Every year Rang Dong brings to the domestic and international markets about 20 million thermos and over 100 million lighting products,” Mr.Tran Trung Tuong said. “Thanks to our cutting-edge production lines and advanced quality management systems, the enterprise has exported thermos and lighting products to more than 20 countries and territories, including EU, Japan, South Korea, Singapore,” he said.
Mr. Vu Quang Minh, Vietnam’s Ambassador to Cambodia, and representatives of more than 80 Cambodian enterprises attended the seminar.

Vietnam – Cambodia’s economic and trade relations in recent years have witnessed a boom. So far, Vietnam has invested in more than 210 projects in Cambodia, with a combined registered capital of over USD 3 billion, ranking among the top five countries-investors in this market. In 2018, bilateral trade reached nearly USD 4.7 billion. However, trade-in lighting items remain low, accounting for less than 3% of Cambodia’s total imports of this product group.
