The efficiency of solar LED lights is similar to that of solar energy, especially now when more environmentally friendly energy systems are promoted globally to avoid the negative effects of climate change. According to World Energy, the average annual global solar radiation can produce the same amount of energy as 140 m3 of natural gas, 200 kg of coal, or a barrel of oil. It means that, with proper optimization, solar energy can replace modern energy sources. Rang Dong's solar LED street light consumes no electricity from the grid as it works solely on solar power. Solar LED street light operation
For making this product, Rang Dong uses light-emitting diode (LED) lamps, which contain a special compound that emits light when a direct current from the source battery passes through it. Its durable nature means the solar LED street lights can last as long as 50,000 hours.
Solar LED street lights are powered by the photovoltaic effect, which converts sunlight into usable electrical energy. This is accomplished by pushing negatively charged electrons into positively charged spaces in the cells.
This process allows solar energy to be transferred into electrons and converted into direct current electricity. Wires from the solar cell are then connected to the battery to transfer the fresh direct current electricity from sunlight, similar to how electricity-based gadgets work.
When night falls, the solar cell will halt the conversion process because sunlight is no longer present. When there isn't enough sunlight to convert, photoreceptors help shut down the solar cell.

Rang Dong’s solar LED street lights with dimming function can be set by default: first 5 hours 100%, next 5 hours 50% and 2 hours after 80%.
MPPT (maximum power point tracking) intelligent charge/discharge controller with battery protection function, which automatically adjusts brightness according to programs, allows the lamp to work for a long time.
The light turning on/off can be controlled by ambient light sensors or by using a remote control. Three brightness levels can be set.
