Myanmar's Hayne Universal links, Rang Dong reinforce partnership

Myanmar has buying LED products from Rang Dong since 2018 and Hayne Universal Links Company Ltd. is one of the company’s customers. The cooperation has grown into a strong partnership, with Rang Dong-made products widely distributed in Myanmar.

Introduction of Hayne Universal Links Co., Ltd.

Hayne Universal Links, originally a family-owned retail store, was established in Yangon in 2017.

Hayne Universal Links, originally known as “Aye Thiri” store, was a family-owned electrical retail store in Mogok, a city in the Pyin Oo Lwin District of Myanmar’s Mandalay region, in the early 1900s. From a small store with an area of less than 100 square feet, they opened a showroom and a second store larger than 1,000 square feet. In 2017, Hayne Universal Links Company Ltd. was officially established in Yangon, specializing in importing and distributing consumer goods.

LED lighting products produced for Hayne Universal Links

Rang Dong produces a number of LED light products for Hayne Universal Links.

Rang Dong has provided various types of LED lights, including LED Bulb (A type, T type), LED Tube, LED Batten, LED Panel and LED Ceiling, for the Myanmar customer,  with the contract value totaling up to USD 300,000. All the products are high-quality, energy-efficient, and use LED packages provided by Samsung.

Business relationship

In 2019, Rang Dong had an opportunity to visit Hayne Universal Links’ headquarters in Yangon. The team was welcomed by friendly and hospitable Burmese people. From a business partnership, they soon formed a closer bilateral relationship, which also contributed to tightening the ties between the two countries.

In many rural areas of Myanmar, people still use traditional, energy-consuming lamps like incandescent and fluorescent lamps. Rang Dong is grateful that Hayne Universal Links is contributing to a better life with LED lighting products.

Myanmar is one of the more than 40 countries which have been buying Rang Dong’s LED lighting products. The Hanoi-based company, which also provides smart lighting solutions, has been cooperating with hundreds of partners in the world to supply indoor and outdoor products as well as specialized items for agriculture and fishery.
