Rang Dong’s BD AT07L KC 90/5W emergency LED downlight is made of nano coated aluminum, making it similar to the color of plaster ceiling and aluminum ceiling. The downlight’s diameter is 118 mm and that of the cutting-hole is 90 mm. The driver is separated, which makes the downlight thin enough to fit in the closed distance between the concrete ceiling and the plaster ceiling.

This emergency LED downlight has a LED package in the middle. This LED package is provided by Samsung, one of the world's top LED suppliers. On a 5-watt power and capable of providing a luminous flux of 310 lm, the light is suitable for narrow spaces like corridors and stairs. The downlight’s driver is connected with a rechargeable battery, which is in turn hooked up to the electrical circuit. In normal condition, the downlight is off, getting power from the circuit while the battery can be charged until it's full. When the power is off, the downlight is powered by the battery and turned on automatically. When the power is back, the downlight turns off and the recharging cycle restarts. There is a red light on the downlight to indicate the charging status.
