Some theoretical basis about LED algae grow light
Spirulina, or blue-green algae, is a filamentous photosynthetic microorganism the size of which is measured in micrometers and it can only be seen under a microscope. Similar to other plants, spirulina carries out optical reactions during photosynthesis. The growth of the algae highly depends on the quality and intensity of light.
The difference here lies with light energy storage. In thick-leaved plants, only the cells in the outermost leaf layer are capable of storing light energy, while each filament of spirulina is a light energy storing cell, thus they all are capable of participating in photosynthesis. It means in algaculture, artificial light must be used with suitable light spectrum and intensity to help the crop grow.

Features of Rang Dong’s algae grow light
Among the dominant features of Rang Dong LED algae grow light are the spectrum suitable for algae and the right beam angle. Its spectrum is different from that of LED lights for general lighting, and also from LED grow lights designed for chrysanthemum, dragon fruit and medical herbs. The 90-degree beam angle gives high light focus on algae tank.
