Vietnam's Rang Dong launches Smart City, Smart Home, Smart Farm solutions

The launch on April 27 was part of the 4th Rang Dong Techday Chain Innovation Festival events, as the Hanoi-based company marked the 58th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to its factory in April 1964. Utilizing Industry 4.0 technology, the company's Smart Home solutions are designed for optimizing the living space for families. Smart City solutions introduced intelligent lighting methods for streets and landscape architecture, while Smart Farm solutions are dedicated for high-tech agricultural lighting, precision agriculture, and renewable energy.

As part of the system, Smart Home Rallismart, a smart lighting solution using Sunlike LED chip technology, will produce light similar to sunlight, with the chip's light spectrum being up to 97 percent of the sunlight. Besides, it also offers real-time controllable light spectrum, intensity, and color similar to the rhythm of sunlight. Other outstanding features include electricity saving of 30 percent more than conventional LED lights, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, extended service life of up to 10 years and minimizing the garbage released into the environment.

In addition, Smart Home Rallismart provides people with an option of control methods, from voice to remote to smartphone control. It can also automatically initiate unlimited scenarios using sensors to meet users' various demands. Control command response/reaction time is quick and smooth.

The solution assists home owners in security monitoring and intrusion detection, fire danger detection and warning, while reducing tripping owing to a lack of night vision light.

With the launch of the Rallismart City platform - Smart landscape and street lighting solution, the city will take on a new look, promoting tourism and the night economy.

Accordingly, the lighting system complies with all applicable lighting standards and regulations. Operators may easily change and set up appropriate operating scenarios using the full solution, which can measure and collect statistics of the system's power use.

The technology, which is fully ecologically friendly, uses LED lights to help minimize carbon emissions that cause the greenhouse effect. The infrastructure for establishing a smart national sensor system in metropolitan areas is a series of street light poles dispersed uniformly throughout the city. 

Sensors mounted on city infrastructure will collect location, density, and environmental data, which will be analyzed using artificial intelligence to detect anomalies such as alarms. accidents, traffic congestion and urban environmental management.

At the April 27 event Rang Dong also unveiled Smart Farm solution, which is designed to assist high-tech agricultural lighting, precision agriculture and renewable energy. The product has secured the Sao Khue Award in 2021, a noble recognition in Vietnam for excellent achievement in science and technology.

Rang Dong LED light for dragon fruit solutions has successfully fabricated specialized LEDs with three main spectral peaks at 450nm, 630nm,730 nm, producing light that matches the absorption spectrum of Phytochrome pigments, increasing the excitability of flowering dragon fruit, improving performance, while lowering power consumption.

Finally, Rang Dong has successfully created several varieties of tissue culture LEDs corresponding to diverse spectrums suitable for each type of plant, effectively solving the problem in the Smart Farm solution, which is a tissue culture lighting solution. This solution can also save energy while still allowing propagating plants to grow, develop, and multiply.
