Rang Dong’s series AT05.V3 ceiling downlights include driver on board type (DOB) (left) and external driver type.
Regarding driver design, the AT05.V3 series is split into two categories: external driver type (also known as buck type) and driver on board (DOB) type, which is also known as AC direct type. There are three different function variations for each of these two categories, which will be covered in more detail in the following section of this article.

With excellent luminous effectiveness of up to 110 lm/W, Seoul Semiconductor's high-quality LED packages are used in all varieties of the AT05.V4 downlight series. For excellent color fidelity, the LEDs also feature a high CRI of 80 or 90. The AT05.V3 ceiling downlights from Rang Dong have a steel housing with ideal heat dissipation and a PC cover with excellent illumination transmittance and uniform lighting distribution. AT05.V3
As mentioned in the previous part, Rang Dong’s AT05.V3 has two types and six variations of function. These functions are AC direct LED downlight, high-efficiency LED downlight, 3 CCT- changeable LED downlight, 3 CCT- changeable LED downlight high efficiency, step dimming LED downlight, and PIR sensor LED downlight. Customers are free to choose which variation they want.
Normal variation with no special function is suitable for basic lighting. With this option, the CCT of the downlight is 5,700K.
With the color changing variation, customers can change within three CCT (3000K-4000K-6500K) by wall switch for different lighting purposes.
For the step dimming variation, customers can change the light intensity by three levels (100% 50%, and 20%).
And the last variation, the downlight is integrated with a PIR sensor with a detecting distance from three to five meters and a 90-degree angle. This variation is suitable for spaces like corridors, staircases, and doorways.
Installation and user’s guide
Rang Dong’s ceiling downlights are suitable for commercial lighting in houses, supermarkets, offices or hospitals.
For installation, drill a hole on the ceiling with the correct diameter as specified in the table of specifications. Next, connect the power supply to the downlight and they will operate on their own.
