Rang Dong launches its Venture Capital Fund
Innovation is an obvious thing for the company to grow. Therefore, Rang Dong Company launched “Rang Dong Venture Capital Fund” as a step to help maximize the creativity of all employees, very creative and impressive. This activity also contributes to the successful implementation of the Company's digital transformation strategy.
The launch of “Rang Dong Venture Capital Fund”
On April 27th, 2020, Rang Dong Light source and Vacuum flask JSC launched the venture capital fund under the name of “Rang Dong Venture Fund”, this event is one among the string of event held at the occasion of “The First Rang Dong Creative Day’” and “The 56th Anniversary of Rang Dong’s traditional Day”. The purpose of this Fund is to provide the financial and spiritual support, to nurture young talents, to develop new projects and products of breakthrough innovation in Rang Dong‘s digital transformation period and then create the breakthrough growth of the entire company.

In his speech at the Closing Ceremony of “The First Rang Dong Creative Day” and “The 56th Anniversary of Rang Dong’s traditional day”, Mr. Nguyen Quan – Former Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam- stated that in Vietnam, Rang Dong was the first enterprise to set up a venture capital fund so far, which is the starting point for the development of “Innovation and Creation”. The experiences and lessons from the USA, S.Korea, and Israel have proved that it is impossible to have innovation, creation, and also a successful Start-up Nation without any Venture Capital Fund.

Launching “the Rang Dong Venture Capital Fund” in this very difficult period, where the fight against COVID-19 and the production as well as the business of the company have to be carried out together at the same time, is the good evidence of the determination, the creation and long vision of Rang Dong‘s Management Board in the development of Science and Technology, promising the start of an ever seen breakthrough growth in Phrase 2 of Second Renovation Work of Rang Dong Company.
