Vietnam’s Rang Dong Promotes Rooftop Solar Power Solutions

The company, Vietnam’s leading provider of smart lighting solutions and which is fully known as Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Company, has organized and joined three events in late November across the country where it discussed with both enterprises and individual customers on the application of rooftop solar systems, targeting greener energy, greater savings and long-term sustainability. 

The initiatives highlight Rang Dong's integrated systems that combine high-efficiency photovoltaic panels with advanced inverters and storage options, enabling users to generate clean electricity on-site while reducing the reliance on the grid.  

The events span workshops, seminars and conferences on November 21-28, allowing direct interaction with experts and hands-on equipment demonstrations in central and southern provinces of Vietnam.

On November 28 Rang Dong sent its branch in Tien Giang to present tailored rooftop solar systems and smart lighting solutions in the “Energy Saving Solutions for Enterprises” seminar held in the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long.  

Delegates from more than 100 businesses explored ways to lower operational costs using efficient technologies.  

Corporate customers interested in the solutions received personalized consultations on system sizing, payback periods and the environmental impact, with real-world examples showing significant reductions in monthly energy expenses for manufacturing and agricultural facilities.  

National Energy Saving Conference 

Also on November 28, Rang Dong team in Da Nang branch showcased full-scale rooftop solar installations at the National Conference on Energy Saving and Efficient Use 2025 held in the central city of Hue.  

The team presented modular panel setups, compact inverters, and monitoring interfaces that track real-time generation and consumption. They highlighted how these systems support energy independence, lower carbon emissions, and qualify for supportive financing schemes.  

The presentation attracted strong interest from industrial promotion centers, universities, colleges, businesses and energy research organizations nationwide.  

Discussions among delegates centered on scalability for urban rooftops, resilience in Vietnam's variable climate, and alignment with national green energy policies.  

Workshop with Huawei 

Earlier in November Rang Dong's Center 3 coordinated with the Bien Hoa branch in the southern province of Dong Nai and the Ho Chi Minh City branch to hold a workshop with Huawei in Bien Hoa city, where they introduced cutting-edge inverters and energy storage solutions.  

Participants in the workshop on November 21 experienced live demonstrations of system components, learning how modern inverters optimize power conversion and battery storage ensures supply stability during peak demand or outages.  

Experts from both the companies discussed with attendees about installation considerations, performance monitoring via smart apps and financial benefits such as lower energy costs and available government incentives.  

The workshop emphasized seamless integration with existing infrastructure, making rooftop solar viable for factories, offices and large residences.
