Strategic cooperation agreement signed between Rang Dong and FPT technology group
On November 21st, at the FPT Techday 2019 Technology and Exhibition Forum, Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company had signed the strategic cooperation agreement with FPT Technology Group on researching and developing lighting products for the intelligent devices ecosystem.
Mr. Nguyen Doan Ket – Deputy General Manager of Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company & Mr. Le Hong Viet – Chief Technology Officer of FPT Technology Group, signed the strategic cooperate agreement between the two enterprises.
Smart products of the two enterprises will participate in the Intelligent Device Ecosystem, including: hardware equipment contributed by Rang Dong and the controlling software from FPT and FPT’s Central Control Unit.
Therefore, FPT Technology Group and Rang Dong Light Resource and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company will cooperate to develop the in-wall sensor switch for smart homes, base on FPT Rogo IoT Platform-Rogo Assistant Ecosystem.
Particularly, the sensor switch will be connected to the Play box device, which provides television services on the internet of FPT, according to the Bluetooth mesh standard.
The sensor switch will be managed and controlled by the Rogo IoT Platform-Rogo Assistant Ecosystem developed by FPT. User can control the switch via Play box devices, voice or the smart-home app (Rogo home) on their smart phones.
The strategic partnership between Rang Dong and FPT Technology Group will create more suitable solutions for smart homes and smart cities.
Rang Dong has comparatively lighting solutions, which can adjust the intensity and the light color of the house, set up smart on/off switch scenarios, control the curtains, etc. However, Rang Dong company still needs integrative solutions between enterprises, in order to provide solutions to make Vietnamese products become more exhaustive. Therefore, those products can bring back new, intelligent and convenient experiences for customers.
