Rang Dong's latest motion sensor enables power supply

An ordinary motion sensor is capable of detecting movements and sending signals to activate alarms or lights. The motion sensor marketed recently by Rang Dong, Vietnam’s leading manufacturer in the lighting industry, has included the new feature of power supply, contributing to the diverse options for smart lighting solutions. In the following article, we will look at these features of the sensor, model CB09.PIR (AC). 

Specifications 

This sensor has obtained an optimal design, equipped with two power cords, enabling power supply to several other electrical devices such as a light, the door bell or the ventilator. The table below shows the fundamental parameters of the sensor. 

• When the ambient illumination is below 80 lux, and a motion detected in the active range, a relay will switch on power supply to connected devices. After the designed power-on (lighting) duration of between 3 and 900 seconds, the relay will automatically shut down the power if no motion is detected. 
• When the ambient illumination is above 80 lux, the relay will not supply power even if any motion is detected in the active range. 

A compact motion sensor looks elegant. 

• If lighting devices are working, and no motion detected, the devices will be off after the programmed duration, from 3 seconds to 900 seconds, depending on our setting up.

How to use

We also can connect it with other electric devices to create scenes. For instance, when no motion is detected, the surrounding lighting devices will be automatically powered off to save energy. In contrast, any motion is available in the active range, lights can automatically be switched on to help people move easily.
